Teaching Faculty Positions

01	Professor (BS-21)	PhD in Animal Sciences/Veterinary Sciences subjects from HEC recognized University/ Institution with 15 years teaching / research experience in HEC recognized University or in a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. OR 10 years post Ph.D. teaching/ research experience in HEC recognized University or in a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. And 15 research publications (with at least 5 research publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized Journals of National/International repute.
02	Associate Professor (BS-20)	PhD in Animal Sciences/Veterinary Sciences subjects from HEC recognized University/ Institution with 10 years teaching/ research experience in HEC recognized University or in a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. OR 5 years post Ph.D. teaching/ research experience in HEC recognized University or in a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. And 10 research publications (with at least 04 publications in last 04 years) in HEC recognized Journals of National/International repute.
03	Assistant Professor (BS-19)	Ph.D. in Animal Sciences/Veterinary Sciences subjects from HEC recognized University/ Institution.  OR Master degree (18 years) in Animal Sciences/Veterinary Sciences subject (preferably foreign degree) or M.Phil (Pakistan) from HEC recognized University/ Institution with 04 years teaching/ research experience in a recognized University or in a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
04	Lecturer (BS-18)	First Class Master’s degree (18 years) in Animal Sciences/Veterinary Sciences subjects with no 3rd Division in the academic career from HEC recognized University/ Institution. No experience required. OR First Class DVM/BSc (16-years degree) in Animal Husbandry with no 3rd Division in the academic career from HEC recognized University/ Institution. Note 1: Condition of 3rd Division shall not be applicable for those candidates who hold a higher degree viz. M.Phil / Ph.D. 2. The candidate with 2nd Division in the DVM degree but holding higher degree i.e. M.Phil/ Ph.D with 18 years of education may be considered.

Non-Teaching Staff Positions 05 Assistant Registrar (BS-17) Master’s degree from HEC recognized university with at least 02 years experience in office management works in Public / Private (registered/ Accredited) organization. OR Bachelors/equivalent degree with at least 05 years experience in office management works in Public / Private (registered/ Accredited) organization. Experience may be relaxed for candidates holding degree from foreign. Computer proficiency in MS Office is a prerequisite. No 3rd Division in the academic career. 06 Accounts Officer (BS-17) 16-18 years degree in Commerce/Finance, (ACCA/BBA/B.Com/M. Com/MBA degree) from a recognized University with 05 years’ service experience in relevant field in Public / Private (registered/ Accredited) organization. Experience may be relaxed for foreign qualified candidates. Computer proficiency in MS Office is a prerequisite. No 3rd Division in the academic career. 07 Assistant Librarian (BS-17) 16 years degree in Library science (BLS degree) Or 18 years degree (MLS) from a recognized University with 05 years experience in Library Management in Public / Private (registered/ Accredited) organization. Experience may be relaxed for foreign qualified candidates. OR 16-18 years university degree with Diploma in Library Science Management from a recognized University/ Institution with at least 05 years post qualification experience in Library management. Computer proficiency in MS Office is a prerequisite. No 3rd Division in the academic career. 08 Personal Secretary (BS-17) 16 years or Equivalent Bachelor degree awarded from a recognized University with at least 3 years service experience dealing with administrative/ secretariat management affairs preferably in Public / Private (registered/ Accredited) organization. Having diploma/certificate in public relations/business communication will be considered as an additional qualification. Experience may be relaxed for foreign qualified candidates. Computer proficiency in MS Office is a prerequisite. No 3rd Division in the academic career. 09 Assistant Controller of Examination  (BS-17) Master’s degree from HEC recognized university with at least 02 years experience in examination branch in Public / Private (registered/ Accredited) university. OR Bachelors/equivalent degree with at least 05 years experience in office management works in Public / Private (registered/ Accredited) organization. Experience may be relaxed for candidates holding degree from foreign. Computer proficiency in MS Office is a prerequisite. No 3rd Division in the academic career. 10 Assistant Engineer - Civil      (BS-17) B.E. (Civil), Preferably in First Class, or equivalent qualifications with three years practical experience in project Directorate or Engineering Department of an Autonomous Organization, firm of repute or Government. Computer proficiency in MS Office is a prerequisite. No 3rd Division in the academic career. Registration of PEC is mandatory. 11 Sub Engineer -  (BS-16) B.Tech from Sindh Board of Technical Education with 3 years of experience. DAE Civil/Mech from Sindh Board of Technical Education with Five years field experience in relevant field. The application forms for the posts of grade BS-17 to BS-21 can be downloaded from the University website: www.sbbuvas.edu.pk and may be submitted to the Registrar Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Sakrand during the office hours on working days along with Pay order or Bank Demand Draft of Rs.1, 000.00 in favor of the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Sakrand from the date of publication till 12/05/ 2015. TERMS AND CONDITIONS The applications alongwith CV, Domicile, PRC, copy of NIC, academic and other certificates for the posts on prescribed application form shall reach the Office of the Registrar, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Sakrand on or before 12/05/2015. Written Test/ Interview letters/SMS will be sent to eligible candidates only after short listing.     Non-eligible candidates will not be informed. (Note: candidates from out of Sindh province are also eligible to apply for the faculty positions; however their appointment will be made on contract basis. For faculty positions in Animal/Veterinary Science disciplines, valid PVMC registration is mandatory. Already employed persons have to apply through proper channel with NOC from the employer. Age limit will be as per Sindh Government Rules and Higher Education Commission criteria. The short listed candidates have to appear in person before the selection board.
