The key responsibilities include:
- Can conduct animal inspections, carcass inspections
- Coordinate with microbiologists/lab staff for any testings required for verification.
- Coordinate with Government of Pakistan Quarantine department for inspection of shipments and related regulatory matters.
- Conduct risk assessments / disease / defects profiling
Standard facilities including transportation, medical insurance would be provided. Lodging facilities can also be provided for outstation candidates
Desired experience
2 years preferably in red meat industry
Studies
DVM
Minimum requirements
DVM from an HEC recognized university
PVMC registration
Red meat industry experience
Desired requirements
Can perform post and ante mortem animal examinations
Can identify and differentiate between different animal diseases especially relevant to Pakistan.
