Job Opportunities:
Government of the Punjab in Collaboration with International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) has launched the “Livestock and Access to Markets Project (LAMP)” in four Districts of the Punjab i.e. Khushab, Mianwali, Layyah and Bhakkar. The Project will focus on livestock growth rate and poverty reduction in rural Punjab by augmenting the livelihoods of 112500 poor households in the target area. In order to achieve the goals of the Project, applications are invited for the following posts at Project Coordination Unit and District Coordination Units.
Project Coordination Unit (PCU)
1. Deputy Project Coordinator (BS-18) Post-01
Age: Up to 65 years.
Qualification/Experience: Ph.D in Animal/Veterinary Sciences with at least 8 years relevant professional experience or Master Degree at least 2nd Division in Animal/Veterinary Sciences/ MBA from HEC-recognized institution with 12 years of professional experience or Bachelor Degree in Animal/veterinary Sciences/BBA, 2nd Division from HEC-recognized institution with 15 years of professional experience including 5 years at a senior management position and 8 years in the development sector, Prior experience of project environment in skill management/livestock development especially to work in foreign funded Projects shall be preferred.
2. Director Extension & Production (BS-18) Post-01
Age: Up to 65 years.
Qualification/Experience: Master degree in Animal/ veterinary Sciences from a recognized university with 10 years’ experience in relevant sector or Bachelor’s degree in Animal/ veterinary sciences or equivalent with 15 years’ experience in relevant sector. Preference shall be given to the candidates who have experience to work in foreign funded projects.
3. Director Animal Health (BS-18) Post-01
Age: Up to 65 years.
Qualification/Experience: Master degree in Animal/Veterinary Sciences from a recognized university with 10 years’ experience in relevant sector or Bachelor’s degree in animal/ veterinary sciences or equivalent with 15 years’ experience in relevant sector. Preference shall be given to the candidates who have experience to work in foreign funded projects.
4. Director Infrastructure (BS-18) Post-01
Age: Up to 65 years.
Qualification/Experience: Master degree in Animal sciences from a recognized university. Having 10 years experience in relevant sector. ii. Preference shall be given to the candidates who have experience to work in foreign funded projects.
5. Director Finance & Accounts (BS-18) Post-01
Age: Up to 65 years.
Qualification/Experience: MBA Finance/Master in Finance or equivalent with atleast 7 years experience in financial management including experience of public sector accounting in maintaining financial accounts and preparing financial reports. Experience of working in donor assisted Projects would be an added advantage.
6. Assistant Director M&E (BS-17) Post-02
Age: 30 to 55 years.
Qualification/Experience: Master degree in Animal/ Veterinary sciences/ Economics from a recognized university. Having 05 years experience in relevant sector. ii. Preference shall be given to the candidates who have experience to work in foreign funded projects. Matriculation/Domicile from rural area of the projects districts preferred.
7. Assistant Director Finance & Accounts (BS-17) Post-01
Age: 30 to 55 years.
Qualification/Experience: MBA Finance/ Master in Finance from recognized university. Having 05 years experience in relevant sector. ii. Preference shall be given to the candidates who have experience to work in foreign funded projects Matriculation/Domicile from rural area of the projects districts preferred.
8. DVM (Female) (BS-17) Post-08
Age: 25 to 35 years.
Qualification/Experience: Master degree in Animal/Veterinary Sciences from a recognized university with 3 years’ experience in relevant sector or Bachelor’s degree in Animal/Veterinary sciences or equivalent with at least 3 years’ experience in relevant sector. Preference shall be given to the candidates who have passed matric from the project district.
9. Security Guard (BS-01) Post-02
Age: 25 to 35 years.
Qualification/Experience: Middle from rural area of the Project Districts.
10. Driver (BS-04) Post-02
Age: 25 to 40 years.
Qualification/Experience: Middle from rural area of the Project Districts with driving license having 05 years experience to work as driver.
11. Veterinary Assistant (Female) (BS-09) Post-12
Age: 18 to 30 years.
Qualification/Experience: Livestock Assistant diploma (2 year course) from a recognized institution with matric in science subject. 1 Experience 3 years. Matriculation/Domicile from rural area of the project district shall be preferred.
12. Assistant (BS-14) Post-05
Age: 18 to 25 years.
Qualification/Experience: Bachelor degree in 2nd division from a recognized university with 10 years experience in relevant field. Matriculation/Domicile from rural area of the project district shall be preferred.
District Coordination Units (DCUs) at Khushab, Mianwali, Layyah and Bhakkar.
13. District Finance Manager (BS-17) Post-03
Age: 35 to 55 years.
Qualification/Experience: MBA Finance or equivalent from recognized university. Having 05 years experience in relevant sector. Preference shall be given to the candidates who have experience to work in foreign funded projects. Matriculation/Domicile from rural area of the projects district shall be preferred.
14. Driver (BS-04) Post-04
Age: 25 to 40 years.
Qualification/Experience: Middle from rural area of the Project Districts with LTV driving license having 05 years experience as driver.
1. Complete applications along with attested copies of CNIC, Domicile Certificate, Degrees, Experience certificates and recent passport size photograph should reach office address given below by 28-12-2015.
2. Incomplete applications and those received after the last date shall not be entertained.
3. For posts from serial number 01 to 4, 6 and 8 candidates should be registered with PVMC.
4. Government employees can apply through proper channel.
5. Market based salaries will be offered to successful candidates from the private sector.
6. The successful candidates from public sector will be paid salary in accordance with the applicable policy of the Government of the Punjab.
7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
8. No TA/DA would be admissible.
9. Candidates should have Domicile of the Punjab.
10. For posts from serial number 01 to 10 candidates from Project Districts shall be preferred.
11. Candidates shall bring the original documents at the time of interview.
